As with all our resource lists, we make no claims for completeness--here especially, where there are so many resources to choose from! Where to begin... how about chronologically? (Likewise, the presence of an agency on this list does not imply our endorsement of it.)

There are many preschools in Portland--for now, we're providing links to programs in South East and to programs with particular philosophies. We'll branch out soon.

For school age children, you probably want to start with a look at public schooling (which includes magnet programs and charter schools). Not working for you? Maybe Montessori or Waldorf education is more suitable for your family--look at the links above. Other private school options do exist, and we're slowly rounding them up. Or maybe you want to homeschool.
